At CHAPMAN ORTHODONTICS Affording Your Braces Cost has Never Been So Easy!

Orthodontic care is just not free. Braces are now more affordable than ever. The average cost of adult braces has become more and more affordable for many. Here at Chapman Orthodontics we are helping patients decide what orthodontic treatments are exactly right for them. This includes how to make them affordable.

Some adults have hesitated to wear braces because of they wonder what is the cost of treatment. They would really love to be able keep their self-improvement plan moving ahead by improving their smile. We know how a fabulous smile can increase self-confidence. Fortunately, each and every day we can help our patients discover just how affordable adult braces are.

Sometimes adults have hesitated to wear braces because of their worry about looks or how long it takes. Like going to a gym or other self-improvement, it takes time for an amazing smile to happen. Adult braces make smiles better. Self-improvement takes time, but better smiles are well worthwhile.

Today, most adults are choosing Invisalign. Invisalign is an invisible series of aligners, customized to straighten teeth. They work much faster than any traditional braces. The result is fewer orthodontic office visits, less time in the whole treatment and since they are invisible nobody knows that you wear them.

We want to be sure there is no reason for you to hesitate to move ahead with your new smile. We want to make it as easy as possible to pay for your orthodontic care.

  • Payment in Full – We accept cash, check and major credit cards. Cash and check payments will be reduced 5% and credit card payments 3% from the total when paid in full before treatment begins. This is to say thank you for reducing the workload in our bookkeeping department.

  • Dental Insurance- Chapman Orthodontics is a Delta Dental Network Premier as well as a PPO Provider. We work with major insurance providers. We are happy to submit claims for treatment. To determine if we can work with your insurance company directly, please call 317 – 852 – 5566.

  • In-Office Financing – An initial down payment will be specified, to be paid in full, before the beginning of the treatment. Monthly payments are then made until the total is paid. No interest is charged. Payments are made with automatic payments on credit or debit card, or automatic ACH debits from a checking or savings account.

  • Your HSA account can provide extra funds if your insurance limits or maximums are reached. The balance in your Health Savings Account will not roll over into the next year. Be sure to spend every penny on your health. This gives you the tax benefits as something more to smile about.

Here at Chapman Orthodontics we will determine your customized treatment plan and we will then determine what your insurance will cover. Adult braces in Plainsfield, Avon, and Brownsburg are affordable here at Chapman Orthodontics. You can finally have that smile of your dreams!

Dr. Peter Chapman and the team at Chapman Orthodontics develop orthodontic treatment plans that are personalized for each patient’s needs. Traditional braces, ceramic or lingual braces, and Invisalign clear aligners are options Chapman Orthodontics offers their patients in the Marion County, IN area.

If you have chosen orthodontic treatment with braces, you should know:

There are different types of braces

When it comes to choosing the right kind of braces for you, Dr. Peter Chapman is the expert and will show you all your options before beginning treatment. Some of the most commonly employed types of braces include:

  • Traditional metal braces: traditional braces are one of the most commonly seen types of braces. They function with a series of metal brackets and wires that gradually shift your teeth to the desired position.
  • Ceramic braces: ceramic braces function with the same process as traditional metal braces, except the brackets are made of ceramic instead of metal. These are often desirable for people who would like their braces treatment to be less conspicuous and noticeable.
  • Invisalign: the Invisalign system consists of a series of clear, plastic aligner trays. Your trays are molded specifically to fit your teeth, and Dr. Chapman will help determine the appropriate intervals for you to have your trays changed. With each new set of Invisalign aligner trays, your teeth will move closer and closer to your desired alignment.

Oral hygiene is crucial

Braces can often trap food in and around the teeth. Regardless of what you’re eating, the location of your braces will cause some food debris to get stuck. It is important to brush thoroughly and completely while being treated with braces. Dr. Peter Chapman suggests brushing after every meal, before bed, and upon waking. It is important also to floss well during treatment. You may want to purchase a braces-friendly flosser, like a Waterpik, to eliminate food debris between your brackets and wire.

Some foods to look out for

There are some foods that you may need to be careful with during your treatment with braces. Some foods, like gum, sticky candy, popcorn, and bagels, can threaten the integrity of your braces, potentially breaking brackets and hindering your teeth-alignment process.

Eventually, caring for your braces will become second nature, and adjusting to your new lifestyle will be easy. You may find that your new oral health care habits stick around after your braces are removed.

Chapman Orthodontics and Dr. Peter Chapman help their patients decide which orthodontic treatment options fit best with their budgets, schedules, and treatment goals.
